HOLIDAY ICE RINK AT PERSHING SQUARE SALUTES ITS VALUABLE SPONSORS

LOS ANGELES – Celebrating its 17th season November 13, 2014 through January 19, 2015, the HOLIDAY ICE RINK PERSHING SQUARE, has become a tradition for holiday fun in the Southland.

Presented by Willy Bietak Productions in collaboration with the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation & Parks, the spacious ice oasis brings people together of all ethnic backgrounds and cultures. Generating millions in revenue to the downtown area over the past decades, the rink enhances the holiday happenings in the city and gives back through free outreach community events. Thousands of skaters and enthusiasts make use of the rink’s safe and seasonally inviting outdoor atmosphere as they celebrate the holidays with friends and family. Hundreds of free tickets are donated each season to underserved youths.

None of this would be possible without the support of the rink’s generous sponsors. Partnerships open doors to new opportunities and expanded awareness. “We are especially grateful to our sponsors and pleased they share our vision of giving back by helping us make the holidays special for thousands of people,” says Willy Bietak.

DOWNTOWN ON ICE HOLIDAY SKATING RINK AT PERSHING SQUARE CELEBRATES 16TH SEASON AS FAVORITE HAPPENING

LOS ANGELES – Get your glide on this holiday season at the Downtown on Ice outdoor skating rink where the coolest fun gets underway on LA’s biggest outdoor rink with the smallest admission price. As an original Southland tradition and a favorite holiday destination, the community rink is open everyday November 14, 2013 through January 20, 2014.

Celebrating its 16th season spectacular at picturesque Pershing Square, 532 South Olive, the facility boasts a medley of FREE events including a winter concert series, the Winter Holiday Festival (Dec. 14th), championship skating exhibitions, broomball games, and more.

Framed by towering skyscrapers and stunning historical landmarks, the spacious rink is made possible through collaboration with the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, Councilmember 14th District, and Willy Bietak Productions which handles rink operations and management.
