DJ HOWLY SPINS THURSDAY NIGHTS AT HOLIDAY ICE RINK PERSHING SQUARE

LOS ANGELES – Drive in movies are gone, but “glide in” music is the latest chill factor at Holiday Ice Rink Pershing Square featuring deejay HowLy spinning on Thursday nights. Skaters can find their groove with tunes from the DJ master who has shared the stage with artists like Bruno Mars, Far East Movement, Lil Jon and Willow Smith, to name a few.

The rink celebrates its 17^th season as a favorite holiday happening open everyday through January 19. HowLy spins 7:00pm to 9:30pm December 4, 11, 18, 2014 and January 8, and 15, 2015.

HowLy’s mixing style is reminiscent of an old school turntablist with a blend of cutting edge new school material. From rock and hip hop music across the generations; to the pop and electro music of the millennium, DJ HowLy puts it all together as one energy-packed seamless mashup.

Holiday Ice Rink Pershing Square is easily accessible by car, bus or Metro (Pershing Square stop). A partnership with Metro and Metrolink allows riders to receive a $1 skating session discount by showing their Metro/Metrolink transit receipt/pass. Underground discount parking is available with validation.
